There All adults volunteering to work with children & youth must undergo a background check and state clearance for safety purposes. SBC has numerous ministries where children are nurtured, cared for, and can grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.

To nurture infants 4 years’ old and younger during weekly children and youth activities and the Sunday morning Divine Worship experience.

To nurture young boys 3-5 in things of God and guide them into their Kingdom destiny through teaching the value of a high self-esteem and how to become obedient to God, respect and obey their parents and others in authority.

RIG: Righteous In Glory (5-6)
To nurture young girls 3-5 in things of God and guide them into God’s calling as young girls through teaching high self-esteem values, obedience to God, and how to respect and obey their parents and others in authority.

STAT: Standing Tall And Talented (7-11)
Provide mentoring that promotes a moral value code and provides self-esteem for young boys 7-11

To ensure young boys 12-13 are taught the value, valor, vision, and victory of African-American manhood. Classes are designed to incorporate Biblical, social, cultural, and educational studies as well as life skills training.

Boys II Men: (14-18)
To ensure young boys 14-18 are provided the tools to establish effective relationship with God, self, and society by equipping them with tools to successfully transition into manhood.

Develop a community of young girls 7-11 who are purposeful, confident, and independent.
